For the 2nd year in a row, Ron White has partnered with CMT to bring his “Comedy Salute To The Troops” to a national audience.

Kathleen Madigan, John Pinette, Jake Johannsen, and Mike Wilmot are just some of the outstanding talent who will be joining Ron White on his 5th Annual “Comedy Salute To The Troops.” The highly anticipated event will take place at Nashville’s legendary Grand Ole Opry House on Tuesday, February 21st at 7:30pm. The show will be recorded in front of a live audience, and will be aired at a later date. Proceeds from the “Comedy Salute To The Troops” will benefit the Armed Forces Foundation.

The Armed Forces Foundation is dedicated to providing comfort and solace to members of the military community through financial support, career counseling, housing assistance, and recreational therapy programs. They offer these vital programs to active duty and retired personnel, National Guard, Reserve Components, and their loved ones.

Ron is a huge supporter of the Armed Forces, and has performed for the Troops at military bases in the U.S. and around the world.

In discussing this event, Ron states, “It’s my fifth year doing this benefit, and I look forward to it more and more every year. Having CMT air the show will ensure that the Troops and everyone around the country can join in on the festivities. I look forward to spending the evening with some of my closest comedian friends as we do our best to raise these soldiers’ spirits, and at the same time, raise some funds for a great cause. I consider it an honor and a privilege, and I believe that it is the duty of each of us, to give back to those who give so much– the bravest men and women on this planet. My friends and I are thrilled to be able to do it.”
